Omni-Mesoscope Lab (Liu Lab)

The Omni-Mesoscope is a multimodal multiscale imaging system that combines quantitative phase imaging with highly multiplexed fluorescence microscopy. It has a uniquely ultrawide single field of view (FOV) of ~5 mm2 at a sub-micron lateral resolution. It enables simultaneous detection of dynamic cell behaviors across a large cell population in their spatial context at a high temporal and spatial resolution.

Computational Imaging Microscopy Lab (Bhargava Lab)

This lab is dedicated to developing computational imaging technology for acquiring quantitative information about biological objects (e.g., optical volume and refractive index) in a label-free manner. It consists of several microscopy systems integrated with a stage-top incubator, enabling long-term live-cell imaging for applications in cell development and drug delivery.

RESOURCES IN THIS LAB:
  • LSM 900 (confocal fluorescence microscopy) setup
    • Fast-scanning and confocal fluorescence microscopy for 2D and 3D specimens
    • Excitation wavelength: 488 nm / 561 nm
  • SS-QPGM (single-shot quantitative phase gradient microscopy) setup
  • SLIM (spatial light interference microscopy) setup
    • Quantitative Phase Microscopy for measuring subcellular features
    • In-situ widefield fluorescence
    • Stagetop incubator
  • Biosafety Level 2
